Step 1

Book Appointment & Share Reports

Once you book an appointment, please gather all available medical records – biopsy reports, pathology summaries, scan reports (CT/MRI/PET‑CT), discharge summaries and recent blood tests. Bringing complete information to the first visit helps avoid repeating tests and allows us to understand your case in detail from day one. If you are seeking a second opinion, carry the treatment summaries and drug charts you have received so far so that we can review what has already been done and plan the next steps appropriately.

Step 2

First Consultation & Assessment

During your first consultation, we will discuss your medical history, current symptoms and any previous treatments in a calm, unhurried setting. Dr. Akash Tiwari will examine you, review all investigations and explain the diagnosis and stage of the disease in clear, simple language. If any additional tests are needed to complete staging or to look for specific treatment targets, they will be planned at this stage and their purpose will be explained to you and your family.

Step 3

Personalised Treatment Planning

Once we have all the required information, we design a treatment plan that is tailored to your cancer type, stage, overall health and personal preferences. This may involve chemotherapy, targeted therapy, immunotherapy, hormonal therapy or a combination of these, and is often coordinated with surgery and radiation as part of a multidisciplinary approach. We discuss the intent of treatment (curative, disease control or symptom relief), expected benefits, possible side‑effects and approximate duration, so that you can make an informed decision together with your family.

Step 4

Treatment, Support & Follow‑Up

Treatment is usually given in cycles, many of which can be delivered safely in a day‑care setting, with some protocols requiring short hospital stays. Throughout therapy, we monitor your blood counts, organ function and symptoms closely, adjusting doses when needed and using supportive medicines to manage nausea, pain, infections and other side‑effects. After active treatment, you will have a structured follow‑up schedule with visits and tests as required, focusing on recovery, surveillance for recurrence and long‑term survivorship care.
